Good news today that the Premier has announced Western Australia can return to pre-lockdown conditions as of Sunday 14 February.
Face masks will no longer be compulsory but you will still be required to check in using the SafeWA app or use contact registration methods at various locations on campus.
You can be assured that ECU is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for you. This includes the deep cleaning of Buildings 31 and 34 on the Joondalup Campus.
While the immediate threat has passed, we must remain vigilant and follow the Government’s health advice. I remind you to:
For students new to ECU, a reminder that O Week commences on Monday, 15 February with a full program of activities to help you get ready to study.
For all students, ECU’s range of support services are available on-campus or online and include general student enquiries, health services, counselling, and equity, diversity and disability services.
Can I take this opportunity to wish you every success for the 2021 academic year and thank you for your support and ongoing cooperation when visiting our campuses.
Sincerely,
Professor Steve Chapman CBE
Vice Chancellor
