Easing of COVID-19 restrictions will see lectures and tutorials resume on campus during the new semester. Some students who are classed as being more vulnerable to COVID-19 however may not be able to return to campus, but there's lots of support available.
Some people are at greater risk of more serious illness with COVID-19. As we move towards living in a COVIDSafe Australia, people still need to take extra steps to protect those most at risk.
People classed as being at higher risk include older people, people living in aged care facilities, people with a chronic illness, people with disabilities, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples living in remote communities.
Anyone could develop serious or severe illness from COVID-19, but those with chronic health conditions or weakened immune systems are at greater risk.
