Children's University Edith Cowan

Children’s University Edith Cowan (CU ECU) aims to inspire students between seven and 14 to develop confidence and a love of learning through validated activities beyond the school curriculum.

The program leverages local education and learning activity providers (including sports clubs, museums, galleries, and school clubs) with a strong emphasis on experience as a significant learning tool. The initiative acknowledges the value in a range of different learning styles and environments in which children engage. Participation is recorded in a Passport to Learning, with members recognised at a formal graduation ceremony hosted on campus each year.

The Australian Government, Department of Education and Training’s Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP) currently fund the CU ECU program.

Visit the CU ECU website for more information including a list of current partners. If you are interested in connecting as a learning destination or partner school, contact the CU ECU team via email.
