Cancer Council Relay for Life - Joondalup Wanneroo

Monday, 06 May 2019

ECU is proud to be making a difference in the local community by once again supporting the Cancer Council of Western Australia through sponsorship of the annual Relay for Life Joondalup Wanneroo event.

Relay for Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. It is a chance for the Joondalup community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.

Event Leadership Team Opportunities

Relay for Life currently have two available roles on their Event Leadership Team. These volunteer roles are a great opportunity to further your skills and experience in the areas of leadership, networking and sponsorship management.

Below are links to the roles currently being advertised, we encourage those interested to apply.

The Chairperson leads the Relay for Life Event Leadership Team, works closely with the support of the Cancer Council WA Fundraising Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the event. If you’re a natural leader and have the personal drive required to lead a team of volunteers to organise this event, then we want to hear from you!

Sponsorship Manager

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has strong networking skills and the ability to deliver sponsorship benefits with our partners. This role would suit someone who has time to meet with organisations midweek regarding sponsorship opportunities.
