Compliance

The University is committed to adherence with its compliance obligations in the conduct of its activities through the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of an effective compliance management system.

The general principles of the University in approaching compliance obligations are that:

(a)    The University is committed to conducting its activities lawfully and establishing good compliance culture.

(b)    The University’s compliance management system is aligned to the University’s core values of integrity, respect, rational enquiry, personal excellence and courage.

(c)     The University’s compliance management system and its application will reflect the size, nature and complexity of the University and its operating environment.

(d)    The University will integrate its approach to compliance with relevant functions, including governance, risk, audit, legal and integrity.

(e)    Relationships with internal and external interested parties will be managed in accordance with the above general principles.
