Support and advice

If you wish to lodge a request or report an incident, why not use the IT Service Kiosk?
It is the shop front for all services provided by the IT Services Centre to ECU staff.
You can report IT related faults, ask IT questions, search a knowledge base of FAQs and user guides.
You can also order items and services.

You can contact the IT Service Desk in one of the following ways:

To assist you as quickly as possible, please have the following ready:

  • Your staff ID number;
  • the nature of your request;
  • your current location and phone number; and
  • the number of the computer and/or printer you are using
    (located beneath the barcode on the white IT Services sticker).

During semester, IT support services are available at the following times. Please note that service hours may be subject to seasonal variation.

eLab counters

For over the counter support relating to computer facilities, visit us at one of the eLabs. Please note that the eLab is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with an access card. The hours below relate to counter support times only.

Opening hours for the IT Service Desk and eLabs for the essential student services period is as follows:

While the IT Service Desk will be operational as stated, only a limited number of IT staff will be on-site with core systems supported on an on-call basis.

Non-urgent requests for assistance may not be finalised until after the resumption of full services on Monday, 9 January 2017.
