Finance Teams

Our Finance teams are dedicated to supporting schools, research institutes and service centres with their financial management obligations and processes.

Services

  • Provide insight, advice and input into a wide range of matters impacting the business units of our key stakeholders.
  • Manage the fee setting, student load plan, financial budget/reforecast and ECU costing model processes.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and insight into financial performance on a regular basis and at key decision points to assist and improve the quality of operational decision making.
  • Provide financial advice and costing support, integral to the decision-making process of new course/ tender/ offshore/ commercial proposals.
  • Support financial viability by undertaking discipline reviews, course and unit consolidation recommendations, low enrollment and viability checks and advising on maximising resource allocations.
  • Provide finance support to researchers, research centres and research institutes for new grant applications, project monitoring, financial acquittals and overall financial performance.
  • Provide and promote usage and understanding of data available to identify actionable items to improve financial sustainability.
  • Provide insights and input into ECU/FBSC process improvement initiatives and service delivery model in order to continuously improve our processes and ensure that the administrative functions and controls do not impede the achievement of academic priorities.
  • Transactional and relevant legislative support to schools and centres through compliance checks and data processing.
