ECU offers a number of videoconferencing options to meet the needs of the University.
Start a video conference from your desk using your desktop computer, or if you’re on the go, from any mobile device such as a laptop, mobile phone or tablet.
Device-based videoconferencing is available through either Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
To get started, you will need a device with an integrated camera and microphone, an internet connection and the Zoom or Microsoft Teams app installed.
Certain meeting rooms and boardrooms are equipped with integrated videoconferencing and audio-video facilities, specifically to support videoconferences using Scopia, Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
A teleconference is a telephone meeting among three or more participants who may be on-campus, off-campus or both.
The introduction of Microsoft Teams calling has reduced the demand for teleconferencing facilities, however if you find Microsoft Teams cannot meet your needs, you can access further information and support on how to hold a teleconference.
