ECU provides staff with access to Microsoft Teams calling services with supported headset, a mobile telephone (subject to approval) and teleconferencing facilities in meeting rooms.
ECU utilises the Microsoft Teams unified communication platform to provide its telephony services. Microsoft Teams calling has similar capabilities to the traditional ‘desk phone’ service, with additional benefits of greater flexibility, mobility and lower operational costs.
Mobile phones and SIM cards are available for ECU staff upon manager approval.
Prior to requesting a new mobile phone or SIM card staff must complete an ATO-FBT declaration form, and read the Purchase and Use of Mobile Telephones and Other Subscriber Devices Policy.
