Governance, Risk and Compliance work together for the purpose of assuring that the University meets its strategic objectives and the centre achieves its operational requirements.
As a service centre, this is achieved through management processes which identify the applicable requirements (defined in laws, regulations, contracts, strategies and policies), state of compliance, risks and potential costs of non-compliance against the projected expenses to achieve compliance, and highlighting corrective actions deemed necessary.
