Psychological Counselling Support

Psychological Counselling Support can help to address any academic and personal issues that impact on your studies. It is a professional, confidential service available to all students free of charge on a short-term basis.

Our psychologists have postgraduate qualifications, skills and experience in helping people with a wide range of personal, psychological and study-related difficulties.

You can talk to a psychologist about anything that is causing you to feel worried or distressed. Some of the common difficulties that students can face include:

  • balancing study, life and work
  • time management
  • cultural adjustment and living away from home
  • anxiety and depression
  • difficulty studying, worrying about achievement, doing presentations and exams
  • problems in relationships with family, friends and partners.
