She has employed qualitative research methodology to perform her research and focus group is considered as a data collection method.

Parisa has completed her Bachelor`s degree and Master`s degree in Library and Information Science from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. She worked as a research librarian for nine years from 2005 to 2014, specialising in individual research consultations, providing assistance to researchers and higher degrees by research students and running training courses and workshops.
