Training workshops and events

Professional development programs can be undertaken through workshops and seminars, online courses, professional experience, collaboration, networking, mentoring and independent study. It is important for researchers of all levels to develop transferrable and professional skills for degree completion, career progression, personal development and employability.

This new online professional learning program describes the principles and responsibilities required of every researcher throughout the research process, from planning through to publication, providing practical guidance on dealing with complex issues. This interactive, online program incorporates the values and obligations of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018, alongside up-to-date examples, scenarios and case studies.

Author Identifiers assist to maintain a consistent and authoritative online record of your research. Covering ORCID, researcher ID, google scholar and Scopus. Covering how to best use these identifiers to create a consistent author presence online.

Academics who successfully complete PSAP and are research active become eligible to be principal supervisors on an HDR supervision panel. Entry into the program is by nomination of the Associate Dean of Research.

Building an Academic CV
