Teaching and assessment methods to enhance employability

The Centre for Learning and Development invites you to two workshops facilitated by Dr Tracy Penny Light, Executive Director of the Centre for Student Engagement and Learning Innovation at Thompson Rivers University, Canada. A networking lunch will provide opportunities to meet Tracy and engage in further discussion.

About Tracy

Dr Tracy Penny Light is an award-winning teacher who has used ePortfolios to engage her students in deep learning since 2004. She regularly delivers workshops and consults with campuses internationally on integrative and innovative teaching and learning.
Tracy is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Association for Authentic, Experiential, and Evidence-Based Learning (AAEEBL) and has co-authored two books on ePortfolio implementation and practice: Electronic Portfolios and Student Success (2010) with Helen L. Chen and Documenting Learning with ePortfolios: A Guide for College Instructors (2012) with Helen L. Chen and John Ittelson. She and Helen are currently working on a new volume for the American Association of Colleges & Universities that explores ePortfolios as a meta-high impact practice and she is on the team developing AAEEBL’s Field Guide to ePortfolios.
