Management and Leadership graduates celebrate with Vice-Chancellor Professor Steve Chapman.
Recently a group of ECU staff joined together to celebrate their achievement at completing their leadership and management programs. There were tears of joy, sighs of relief and an overarching feeling of accomplishment as participants reflected on their individual learning journey. Past and present graduates shared their unique stories of how the program had added value to their work, careers and life.
Professor Steve Chapman shared that his main tenet of leadership was to build a great team and show trust by delegating responsibility to them. He said most people in the organisation don’t have direct access to him and therefore he valued the role that our managers play in leading our organisation. This is why he gives his support to developing our managers and leaders through these programs.
