Support

Technical support

Technical issues should be directed to the Research System Coordinator, Research Services.

This can be for issues such as:

  • ECURMS is not responding,
  • you are unable to access ECURMS,
  • ECURMS is presenting error messages.

You should lodge an enquiry with the IT Service Desk as soon as possible, via email: itservicedesk@ecu.edu.au or telephone: (08) 6304 6000 or extension 6000

So that we can assist you efficiently, please provide screenshots of the error (if applicable) and a detailed description of what you were doing when the issue occurred. For more information visit the DCS Support and Advice web page.

Off-campus support

If you wish to access ECURMS from off-campus you will need to be connected to ECU’s VPN. Installation guides can be downloaded from the Digital and Campus Services, Connecting Remotely to ECU web page.

For assistance with connecting to the VPN contact the IT Service Desk by email: itservicedesk@ecu.edu.au or telephone: (08) 6304 6000.

Application support

Research Services' Research Administration Officers can offer assistance with using ECURMS, as well as offering advice on the associated processes.

Alternatively, the Research Systems Coordinator can offer guidance with using ECURMS. Please email researchsystemssupport@ecu.edu.au.
