Curriculum Approval and Publication System (CAPS)

The Course Management System was replaced by the Curriculum Approval and Publication System (CAPS) on 1 October 2014. CAPS is a central repository for all curriculum related processes such as creating, modifying or archiving curriculum items and publications.

The Centre for Learning and Development runs a number of training sessions throughout the year. The sessions are role-based so that you learn to use aspects of the system that best suit your needs. Please go to Training for details on training schedules and outlines.

Access

All academic staff automatically have a CAPS account created for them.  You can access CAPS by navigating to the Staff Portal and then clicking on the CAPS application link in the "Easy Logins" menu on the left-hand side of the Staff Portal.

You may need to add the link to your "Easy Logins" by clicking on the 'edit pencil' icon next to the "Easy Logins" title.

Support

Issues such as the application is not responding, you are unable to access the application or the application is presenting error messages, should be directed to the IT Service Desk as soon as possible via email: itservicedesk@ecu.edu.au or telephone: (8) 6304 6000 or extension 6000.
