Occupational safety and health

We place the highest priority on creating and providing a safe and healthy working environment for all students.

The Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) Office is responsible for the University’s health and safety policies. It also provides guidance on hazard identification, ergonomics and other risk-related issues.

ECU faculties also have their own OS&H guidelines, specific to their study and research activities.

The Faculty of Computing, Health and Science offers a safety induction to its students and provides information on activities involving fieldwork, laboratories or animals.
