eduroam

eduroam is a secure global roaming wireless network for the research and education sector. It allows users to login using their eduroam credentials at their home institution or participating institutions for wireless network access.

Connecting to eduroam

To connect to eduroam, follow the instructions under the eduroam Wireless Student guide.

It is recommended to test your connection to eduroam on ECU campus before visiting another participating institution.

If you require access to ECU’s intranet and internal resources from outside the University, make sure you have the VPN software installed and tested before you visit another institution. To find out how to connect to ECU's VPN, please visit 'Connecting remotely to ECU'.

Are you a visitor at ECU?

If you have already set up eduroam on your device, log in using your institutions login details. If you are unsure, check with your institutions IT Department. More information about using eduroam is available on the on the eduroam website.

If you have followed the steps above and still cannot connect to the ECU Wireless Network, please contact the IT Service Desk.
