Future Energy Q & A Luncheon

In conjunction with World Environment Day, ECU's Environment Services team is pleased to host a lunchtime talk and Q&A session with 2010 Young Environmentalist of the Year, Mr Matthew Wright.

Executive Director of not for profit organisation, Beyond Zero Emissions, Mr Wright will speak on how Australia can run its economy and industry on 100 per cent renewable energy within a decade.

He will also explain how the Beyond Zero Emissions Plan addresses the science of climate change, through decarbonising each sector of our economy.

Following his presentation, attendees will be invited to participate in an open Q&A session with an expert panel including Mr Wright and ECU academics; Vice-President (Corporate), Mr Warren Snell; Acting Director, Facilities and Services Mr Russell Noble; Head, School of Engineering Professor Daryoush Habibi; and Facilitator & ECU Environment Coordinator Ms Belinda O'Brien.
