The Peer Mentoring Program is designed to assist new students with making the transition into university life, because starting university can be a daunting experience!
When you sign up to the Peer Mentor Program you’ll be matched with a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student who is studying or has studied the same course as you. Having an experienced student as your mentor gives you access to a great source of information about the university, ranging from the best places to park to where to see help with assignments. The Peer Mentor Program is also a great way to meet new people and provides you with a sounding board for any of your questions or concerns.
Your mentor will send you weekly emails with helpful information and will meet with you and a small group of your peers over the course of the semester.
For more information on participating in the Peer Mentoring Program, please contact Careers and Leadership Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or on (61 8) 6304 5899.
