Becoming a mentee

The Peer Mentoring Program is designed to assist new students with making the transition into university life, because starting university can be a daunting experience!

As a new first year undergraduate student you'll automatically be matched with an experienced peer mentor who is studying in the same field as you. Having an experienced student as your mentor gives you access to a great source of information about the university, ranging from the best places to park to where to see help with assignments. The Peer Mentor Program is also a great way to meet new people and provides you with a sounding board for any of your questions or concerns.

Your mentor will contact you each week with helpful information and will meet with you and a small group of your peers over the course of the semester.

For more information on participating in the Peer Mentoring Program, please contact Careers and Employability at careers@ecu.edu.au.
