Dozens of ECU academics and researchers have engaged in informative and interactive training sessions, learning the ins and outs of local, national and international media with our Corporate Relations team. Courtesy of Business Events Perth, the $5,000 ECU Aspire Award covers travel, accommodation, and registration expenses at your chosen conference, exhibition, convention, or seminar. It can used within three years of receiving the award.

ECU is Celebrating Disability Pride Month 2023

Disability Pride Month is a celebration of disability identity, community, and advocacy. Historically, ableist ideas of disability have been socially constructed as the truth, where disability is seen as something shameful to be hidden from public space. Disability Pride is a response and counteraction against these ableist social stigmas, placing the autonomy of disabled identity into the hands of people with disability to define.
