The Planning, Quality and Equity Services Centre (PQESC) provides advice, information and support for the University’s strategic planning, operational planning, performance reporting, surveying and quality improvement processes.
The Centre helps the University achieve its mission by undertaking institutional research and engaging with government and stakeholders to successfully position and develop the University. It also supports, promotes and integrates the planning, KPI, and quality frameworks at all levels.
The Centre values and promotes excellence, collaboration and relationship building in all its activities.
Teams
Planning and Equity
The Planning and Equity Unit supports the University Council, Council committees and the Senior Leadership Team in their strategic planning, performance monitoring and organisational development functions.
Quality
The Quality Unit supports the Quality Framework, by co-ordinating quality improvement activities including school reviews and annual reviews.
Survey Services
Survey Services is responsible for conducting and overseeing survey and other data collection, and processing work that provides strategic and operational information supporting activities such as teaching and learning, service delivery, and staffing.
Engagement
The Engagement Unit was created in April 2012 and is responsible for providing strategic and operational support for the achievement of the University's engagement priorities. The Unit also supports outreach activities and projects with community stakeholders and partners as well as coordinating and overseeing all of ECU's engagement activities.
