Research centre reviews
Research centre reviews provide the opportunity to report, reflect and seek external feedback on the effectiveness of a research unit's activities, systems and outcomes, including:
- assessing the national and international standing of those activities and their continuing relevance;
- verifying that systematic planning, delivery and review activities reliably meet university policy and standards and result in improvement;
- identifying areas of affirmation and commendation; and
- recommending how activities in the research unit could be improved.
University Research Groups, Centres and Institutes policy
The aim of the University Research Groups, Centres and Institutes policy is to encourage the development and, where appropriate, the formal designation of research groups, centres, and institutes so they become a focal point of the University's research effort and promotion.
