Using recruitment agencies

Recruitment agencies can be engaged to provide a range of staff recruitment activities. This page also has information about the engagement of consultants.

Recruiting ongoing staff

Covers converting staff appointments from fixed-term to ongoing and continuing contingent funded employment contracts.

Recruiting fixed-term staff

Covers the process for recruiting and appointing staff on a fixed-term basis.

Recruiting interstate or overseas staff

Information about services provided to staff who are successfully recruited from outside Western Australia.

Engaging with unpaid appointees

Unpaid appointments include Honorary Appointments, Adjunct Appointments and Visiting Fellows (Research).

Governance and legal responsibilities

Probation

Probation is a critical stage in the recruitment - selection - appointment - probation continum to enable new staff to demonstrate they can satisfactorily perform the role to which they are appointed at ECU.  This page includes information and tools to support managers and staff through this process.
