Events or Functions on campus
If you are anticipating having:
- a social get together on campus for your Faculty/Centre, School/Branch or office; or
- an internal function such as: Orientation Week activities, Student Guild activities, University Open Day, corporate and promotional activities, academic/student function awards, etc
you need to complete an Application to Conduct a Function on Campus form, preferably at least 14 days prior to the event/function date. The application also includes a Risk Assessment Template which is required to assist the Facilities Management Office with general information in relation to the proposed event.
To assist with the organisation and ensure your event/function is a success, the Facilities Management Office can provide you with signage, parking, furniture and event bins on the day. Please contact the relevant campus Facilities Management Office.
The Facilities Management Office also has a range of equipment that is available for use, i.e. whiteboards, directional signage, etc. Please contact a Facilities Management Officer on the relevant campus for further information:
Many of the food outlets on the metropolitan campuses provide function catering. To access their menus, prices and operating hours please visit our functions catering web page. The “general conditions” for each provider should be checked prior to placing your order.
The catering contractor on ECU’s South West campus is available for function catering, or external suppliers can be used.
