The Facilities and Services Centre’s goal is to be a recognised Centre of Excellence, providing integrated services and expertise in the management of physical assets and support services to the University’s academic and research programs, and to support the overall vision of Edith Cowan University. This objective is measured through the Balanced Scorecard.
The Facilities and Services Centre is committed to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an integrated management system that meets the requirements of the following international and national recognised standards:
- AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008, Quality management systems
- AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004, Environmental management systems
- AS/NZS 4801:2001, Occupational health and safety management systems.
Complying with these standards, relevant legislative requirements and University-wide plans and policies provides ongoing benefits to students, staff, contractors, other stakeholders and the environment.
This is achieved through the objectives that are aligned to the Business Excellence Framework 2007.
