Workshop “Curriculum 2012”

As you are aware, C2012 is gaining momentum and it is now time to step back and review our progress and where we need to focus energy to achieve its outcomes.

We have therefore secured the services of Larry Quick from Resilient Futures to provide a series of workshops to produce a clear statement that identifies our alignment to the value proposition underlying C2012, the current state of C2012, the opportunities and risks that C2012 is facing, the capabilities that will or may be needed to deliver C2012, and actions that need to be taken to ensure its success at every level. 

Attention Sessional Teaching Staff

The Centre for Learning and Development would like to invite you to the Sessional Staff Professional Development Day being held on the 31st of March on the Joondalup campus in building 21 (level 2).  This will be a morning of tailored development, the opportunity to participate in discussions, to network, and enjoy morning tea and lunch with other sessional staff.

Recognition for Excellence in Teaching

Dr Joyce Hendricks, Dr Julie Ann Pooley and Professor Mark Stoney were awarded ALTC 2011 Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning at the Sydney Opera House on the 16th August 2011.

First Year in Higher Education (FYHE) Conference 2011 – Design for Student Success

The conference provides the opportunity to disseminate research and practice for enhancing the first year in higher education. The conference will have discussions on a wide variety of subjects.
