Teaching Awards Writing Workshop at ML

This workshop is designed to share knowledge and enhance skills associated with writing about teaching. Professor Lynne Hunt will lead this workshop in which participants will be empowered to find their own voice and encouraged to weave clear narratives about what they do to enhance students’ learning. It will focus on use of evidence and the importance of explaining why you are doing what you are doing.

Lynne is Emeritus Professor, University of Southern Queensland. She has worked in educational leadership positions as Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Professor and Leader of the Teaching and Learning Development Group at Charles Darwin University (CDU), and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) at the University of Southern Queensland. She received an Australian Executive Endeavour Award in 2009 to study quality assurance in Malaysian higher education and she is the recipient of three, university-level awards for teaching excellence. She won the 2002 Australian Award for University Teaching in the Social Science category and the 2002 Prime Minister’s Award for Australian University Teacher of the Year.
