Blended Learning, 8th June 2017

Times are changing and so should  learning and teaching. Can Blended Learning help students take more ownership/responsibility for their lifelong learning; allow lecturers to rejig their class time and bring back the enjoyment of teaching through more interaction; and help deliver student-centred methods via flipped learning and others? Join us to find out and be one of the first to help launch something new - the Learning Community on Blended Learning.

Through interactive discussions and presentations you will have the opportunity to:

  • Become familiar with the background, merits and challenges of blended learning;
  • Gain awareness of the variety of methods for implementing blended learning; and
  • Contribute to the launch of a new and exciting learning community on blended learning.

PVC (Education) Prof. Angela Hill, Edith Cowan University; and
Assoc. Prof. Carl Reidsema, University of Queensland
